Was in the restaurant in the cozy stylish covered courtyard food! super professional friendly service! very fresh top prepared food! Had as an appetizer Kartoffelrösti with home-salmon very delicious! Freshly mashed chanterelle soup and a dream come true! as a main course mushroom dumplings with mushroom sauce everything made a dream is not better !!!! Top portions very reasonable prices! A great restaurant where everything fits! For me a tip! Goes it is worth it drive even over 40 km just a dream !!!!!

He is back! A name like lightning and thunder. How many wonderful hours were we allowed to spend in this traditional inn before it burned out in November 2019. After reopening two weeks ago, we made our first visit and were not disappointed. The Imhof couple the perfect hosts. As usual, the most delicious Palatinate specialties with a youthful flair were served from the kitchen. The hit is the dessert menu. A rendezvous of all the classics and one better than the other. The wine list fulfills all wishes and the prices have not yet been caught by the inflation fever of other Palatinate houses. Thank you, thank you, thank you and leave everything as it is now. Actually 6 or 7 out of 5 stars;) Great restaurant with very friendly and service-minded staff. Landed here by chance and surprised by such a great restaurant and hotel. The food is fabulous and all the little details add that extra something. Very clean, great ambience, good wine list, excellent menu, great raw materials processed and prepared with love - all in all, definitely worth a visit! Gastronomy at a great level in the middle of a cozy village by the vineyards. Definitely worth a visit again! Many thanks to all employees :)!

The breakfast was a disaster, many empty and was little or no replenishment! White sausages were too few and the fresh ones were cold and again too little! Dinner was OK! Most of the staff were very friendly!

Can only rate the restaurant: traditionally decorated, cozy, you eat here very well! Priced OK. Nice service, even wheat beer freshly tapped! Enough parking behind the house with entrance directly to the restaurant and hotel. Small "beer garden" covered by vine green. Reservations recommended. Conclusion: recommended!

We were in the restaurant today to celebrate a big birthday. An evening where it is important that he is not "spoiled". The restaurant was full and (very) small organizational mistakes can hardly be avoided. Crucially, these were more than made up for by a genuinely friendly and outstanding service. The food was excellent, the prices absolutely fair. If you like good local cuisine that is not limited to tourist Saumagen nostalgia, you will find something here. Without a reservation one should not appear with several persons in the Kallstadter yard. The service is extremely friendly and helpful. The menu and drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired. The Kallstädter Weissburgunder from 2017 has convinced. The kitchen could not fully convince, as the dish was seasoned to behave and side dishes did not appear homemade.

A wonderful little hotel. Fantastic food fine wines from the region. Service is great.

Excellent for a stay in the wine region.

Very nice restaurant with well trained staff that knows how to properly serve people. The menu card is extended with a seasonal card and the wine card has a wide variety of excellent wines from the whole region. Having been there on a Saturday lunch time, we were amazed how full it was. But still no stressed personell even when it is full.

Nice clean hotel with large rooms and bathroom. Very friendly staff, excellent restaurant with extensive menu and extensive breakfast buffet. Recommended!
